Along with your very public support, your Miami HEAT had a secret source of inspiration during their historic 2012 Championship run. Shortly before the Playoffs began, Head Coach Erik Spoelstra presented the team with a black replica Larry O’Brien trophy to serve as a pact between the team and its coaches. As each player and coaches signed the trophy, they were promising to do anything and everything required of them to reach their ultimate goal. Following every playoff victor, Coach Spoelstra would place a golden dash along the base of the trophy, which was adorned with the team’s mottos for the 2012 playoffs: All In, Together, Toughness. Only after inscribing the 16^th tally mark on the evening of June 21^st was the team truly allowed to celebrate. This unique trophy was unveiled and the secret was revealed in the hours after the NBA Championship had been won.
